Still waiting (Poem)

The wait is running deep now

As if the stars haven’t aligned yet

The one for you is across miles of land

But yet, seems like an impossible reach

Am I searching in the wrong place? Maybe…

Am I already connected to you?

Should I reiterate my dreams… Maybe for once

because I am weary of the timelines and the wait…

This empty vessel too has been quite

since the trials of loneliness seem too long

Days and nights make no difference

ever since the feelings have been sinking

Still, there is something that makes me smile
